We've got a lot of exciting new features to kick off the new year that we're sure you're going to love, let's jump into it.👇
No longer do you need to be using Google forms, saving data to a spreadsheet and praying it doesn't get lost and buried in some random folder on the shared drive. We've released the ability to now send out custom forms to your vendors (such as Security questionnaires) and centrally manage, search and collate their answers all from within Ploy.
Better yet, this is all integrated with workflows, so you're able to automate the collection of this information on a regular basis (e.g. yearly security reviews).
We've also seriously beefed up our capabilities for completely automating your JML processors within workflows. You're now able to automate (almost) the entire process from creating users in Entra to adding them to groups, distribution lists and even assigning them licenses.
We're really excited about the amount of time this feature is saving our customers IT teams. If you want to try it out or see a demo, feel free to book some time in using the button at the bottom of the email.
We've also given the workflows a much needed face lift and improved the UX to make it easier to navigate, especially with the amount of new actions we've added in.
One of our bigger goals in Q1 is to increase the visibility we give IT and finance teams into how their employees are using the tools they manage and where there might be opportunities to remove licenses, from a cost and security standpoint..
The first step in that direction is looking at how frequently employees are using the applications they've been given access to which we now show you in the apps page.
For apps where we can track usage, we'll now display a usage meter next to each employee indicating how frequently they've used the app in the past 90 days:
Hovering over this icon will give you a calendar view showing all the days the employee as signed into the application.
