Factorial HR Integration

Automate access management across the employee lifecycle with Ploy’s new integration for Factorial HR users.

We’re excited to announce a new integration between Ploy and Factorial, a rapidly growing HRIS system. This integration strengthens the range of systems that Ploy can integrate with, and helps ensure that critical employee information-such as job titles, start dates, and end dates-can be pulled from an ever growing list of HRIS systems.

Why this integration matters

Through this integration, Factorial users can now automate access management across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding, to role transitions, to offboarding—ensuring that IAM (Identity and Access Management) processes are both accurate and timely.

What's more, by reducing manual data entry and minimising delays, your teams can ensure that employees have the right access at every stage of their employment, aligned with their roles and tenure.

Examples

Onboarding: By pulling information such as an employee's start date and role from Factorial, Ploy can automatically grant the new joiner access to all necessary resources, and ensure a zero-touch onboarding process.

Role Transition: When an employee changes roles, such as when being promoted or transferring between teams, Ploy can automatically grant and revoke access to resources, eliminating access creep and supporting you with implementing the principle of least privilege. For additional resource access, employees can then use the self-service access catalog with access policies and provisioning strategies of your choosing.

Offboarding: When it comes to employee offboarding, Ploy can create a fully auditable task list that ensures no orphaned accounts are left unattended to. Ploy can also revoke OAuth access automatically, and the entire process can be triggered based off the employee end date in your HRIS system.
